That's not exactly a good thing about touch controls.

It depends. Usually I'd hold my vita way low to give them the impression that I was (maybe) touching myself and they'd start staring, but then I would hold it higher and they'd go "Oh... (stupid adults shouldn't play with toys in public anyway)". I just love the reactions.
