Yea.. I was pretty fine with the og Xbox when it came out. I got big hands so I was specifically fond of the duke, compared to the micros.   Halo 1 & 2, DOA, even the 1st Forza was fun..  I remember specifically having lan parties for halo 1 & 2 mp.. That was fun times.. My OG still works too.. But I've since modded it and use it mainly as an emu console.
