Don't understand the point of them disagreeing over Ryse 2. So they get to keep the IP. Who on earth is going to fund Ryse 2 after the incredibly mediocre critical & commercial reception of the first game? If Microsoft were willing to do it, they should've been jumping at the opportunity to agree.
Unless they plan on self-funding and publishing. Which seems pretty impossible given the fact that they're not even able to pay their staff at the moment.
I hope Crytek UK get saved by someone if all this goes under. Maybe someone like Deep Silver could buy them. Would be pretty amusing to see Homefront 2 get delayed and moved published again, though :P
