At the beginning of last gen 500k copies or less wasnt enough to warrant the success of a AAA game. At the end of last gen a million in sales was and still is too little to secure the success of a AAA game. AAA games are and have been the downfall of numerous companies. THQ was the first major company to fall to this. MS has no creativity and they are dependent on whatever IP's they can get. If they make a Ryse 2 that shows they are truly desperate to match Sonys expected development numbers.

Go do some reading about THQ, they made some very poor investments you probably don't know about.

Your arguments are so terrible. Ryse did pretty well and that motivated MS to continue it. That's the same reason Sony keeps rehashing many of their IPs.

I have to give one to S.T.A.G.E.

We, in fact, don´t know if Microsoft was/is realy interested on a Ryse 2 based on how the first game performance alone.

It could be that Crytek was working by their on, with the hope to convince Microsoft to greenlight it and send more money.

I think we don´t know for sure for whom the rights of Ryse IP belongs.
