sorry but i have to defend my honor here. 

...the bad talking started years ago well before SO was even rumored.   R&C was loved but resistant didn't gather much support.  most insomniac fans like myself hated R&C All4One.  R&C full frontal assult might have been better (at least it was in the right perspective) but the tower defense format was still a big step down from a real R&C game and very disappointing.

i never played f.u.s.e but the reviews were terrible and i was inclined to hate it the moment i saw everything i love about insomiac ripped out of the game during this transition...

were were happy to have into the nexus announced but even then getting only half a game didn't do a much to smooth over a lot of the frustration fans of insomnic have been feeling for the previous 4 years.

..and then SO is announced as xbox exclusive.   eh, it hurt but in total honestly SO doesn't look like anything special either.  i don't think it will be terrible by any means but it won't be anything to brag about either.  at least it's a return to their style but lots of the animations look very rough and the gameplay just doesn't look all that good.

 

the point is,.. it wasn't just SO that brought on a lot of bashing.  insomniac has been disppointing their fans for a very long time now.

I understand what you're saying. Still, you have to admit that a lot of Sony fans felt betrayed by Insomniac going multiplatform then going on to make an exclusive game for the competition. Oh and you didn't like All-4-One?! Wow I don't hear that often. I thoroughly enjoyed that one. If I had to choose which Ratchet & Clank I liked least, it would be Quest For Booty.

 

I see that you're a true Insomniac fan in and out. FUSE was definitely terrible. I was hoping for a great game in that right. Anway, SO looks really fun. No it may not be on Destiny's level of awesomeness, but it still looks like a ton of fun. Whenever I get an Xbox One, I will surely be getting that game. I hope Insomniac comes back to develop a game for the PS4 as well.
