This is true to an extent for MCC as well, but there is clearly far more development time and resources being put into the collection, as per my previous post.

Okay, I dind't realise the source was Sony, but as for "more development time and resources" on MCC I'd strongly disagree. It's 3 straight ports to XB1 from 360 with 1 remake. Only Halo 2 is having any serious effort put into it.

A straight port is all TLOU is getting - the developer came out and said they already have assets drawn up for the original game that can be used on PS4. But that said, you're right.  Without more information from both developers on the amount of staff time being given to the projects, I am just speculating.
