i was overwhelmed at one point.

i have new rules. if i don't like the game in the first 1-2 hours i just stop playing and move on. if i'm only so-so on the game from the cover art (or whatever) i don't even start it. too many games is only a problem if you think you have to play them all. if you look at it as an opportunity to pass on average-at-best games it is a great thing.

also i stopped going for plats expect in the games i really, really love. 1 and done the rest.

Yeah, before ps+ I would playthrough a game normally and then go online and look at trophy guides to clean up. Now, I think I'm going to read trophy guides before to obtain the most in a single player through. If any game requires something like, oh I don't know, 10,000 online kills I'll just pass and move to the next game.

yeah, i do that too.  i glance at the trophy list and if i see something impossible on the list (or something just not worth my time) i say "fuck it" to the plat before starting the game.  multiplayer based trophies are typically impossible for me.  anything that is just pure grind is just not worth my time,.. i have too many games to play games in a way that isn't fun.  things like bolt collector in R&C (collect 1M bolts and keep in mind the ryno cost 150k) can just go fuck itself.  that's like 5 extra playthoughs after doing at least 2 full playthoughs to get the gadgeteer trophy.

yeah,.. i'm surprisingly okay with finishing a game with "only" 80% completion these days.
