Did EA mishandle the Titanfall IP?

well.. if that's the case, then wouldn't it be better to keep it as xbox plat exclusive for all future titles.  I'm just saying.. regardless if xbox funded the game, EA sold the exclusivity.  My point is, by going exclusive for their first title, did EA screw up their chance of having a potential "COD Killer" type IP?  I'm not saying any future titles will not sell, just saying their actions could of potentially pushed away sales from the sony plat.  And by ignoring one gamer base, like I said, what makes that gamer base care about the sequel(s), especially if by that point, more titles could be available on all platforms and they will all be fighting for sales.  COD,BF,Destiny,PS2,etc.. it's going to be shooter saturated by the time the next Titanfall releases..

You realize it took COD 3 tries before Mofern Warfare hit it big......
