Because if GT6 was to be ported to the Vita - it would get more flank and be the worst of the two versions. There will be some sort of downgrade in some way or even worse FPS. The PSP version of Gran Turismo didnt have a Career mode nor did it have the ability to upgrade the cars - and that was its main flaw. I cant imagine what it will be (if its the same) for a rushed port of GT6.

Sony should invest on newer titles of familiar IPs or newer IPs rather than focusing on ports of last gen systems.

This is a weak argument. Good Vita ports have well received critically, even if visually inferior to home consoles.

Some downgrades would be acceptable. The problem with Borderlands 2 isn't the downgrades, its the performance.

The PSP version of GT mode lacking a career mode or upgrading features had nothing to with the PSP. It was just a half assed game, period.

Why does a GT6 port have to be rushed? That's a project actually word putting effort in. If EA can do a quality port of NFS:Most Wanted on Vita, we can assume Sony can do the same with GT6. Look at the Most Wanted videos i posted above.

While I agree that NFS Most Wanted is how to do it, it also took a 10-20% hit in ratings from the usual mainstream sites like IGN fir the compromises made. Completely unjustifiable imo in NFS's case though. That ver is a technical marvel that is yet to be surpassed even by secondsthe iPad despite being far more powerful. IPad her of most wanted however? Rated higher than the ps360 ver by some reviewers. Baffling.
