You disappoint me, curl ... It's extremely sad that you would grossly over generalize a gaming community. Just because they can afford the minimum rigs doesn't equate to the fact that poorer users will be able to get every game and it also doesn't mean that a lot of the PC gamers are to blame since their only given a bad image. It's a fact that piracy wouldn't be as big of a deal if it was eliminated ...

For every 1000 pirated copies eliminated you will only get back 1 sale ... I know it's not a license for pirating but you have to understand the darker side of the world.
