Sony - Sony and Games - View Post

You are clearly the individual having difficulty understanding. I challenged the statement that the PSP has no games because objectively we can see that there are plenty of games available for it. Therefore I have grounds to state otherwise. The aforementioned user didn't state that they didn't like the PSP, they simply stated that:

"Every playstation portable console throughout lifetime = no games."

No qualifiers, no reasoning, nothing. This statement is indefensible because plenty of games, Western or Japanese, original and unique were released for the PSP throughout its lifetime and just because a user somehow has a preference against hundreds of titles doesn't mean that they suddenly don't exist. You can claim that it was inferior to the DS but you simply can not claim that there was nothing available for it, understand? You can not defend such an absolute, black and white statement that the PSP never receieved any quality games because it simply isn't true.

Dude! You still don't get it, do you? I'm not disagreeing with you on how good the psp was or that there should be no doubt that it did in fact have games. I know that, you know that, the critics and millions of people know that.

My point is: No matter how solid your arguments are and how baseless the other person's are, you're fighting a battle you cannot win. Why? Because you'll use facts like sales and critical acclaim and they'll say "those games were terrible". And you'll say "but what about the critics" and they'll say "they're all paid by companies", "but what about sales", they'll say "so what COD sells well". "I played x game and it was boring. I sold my psp/psvita/xbox/etc a month after I got it".

After you're done trying to argue with facts, you'll realize you'd be throwing eggs at a wall/wasting your time.

Lack of reasoning still doesn't prevent them from expressing their opinion no matter how little sense it makes.Technically, they can but they shouldn't.

Do you get what I'm saying now?
