Then you haven't been paying close enough attention/aren't recognizing it for what it is. Take Watch Dogs, for example, their ad line was 'Play it First - Only on Playstation'. Which in no way implies it won't be coming to other platforms later down the line.
It sucks, but we're in a time where we have to be dedicated to reading between the lines/reading what isn't plainly said.
