It had an admirable attach rate, but still far short of PS360, because of all the consoles sold to people who closeted them and never bought a single game (hype buyers for Wii Fit, etc).

  1. Wii Sports (45.7 million) (April 2009)
  2. Wii Play (22.98 million) (April 2009)
  3. Wii Fit (18.2 million) (April 2009)
  4. Mario Kart Wii (15.4 million) (April 2009)
  5. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (8.4 million) (April 2009)
  6. Halo 3 (8.1 million) (January 2008)
  7. Super Mario Galaxy (8.02 million) (April 2009)
  8. Mario Party 8 (6.7 million) (April 2009)
  9. Gears of War 2 (5 million, may include PC version) (May 2009)
  10. Gears of War (4.7 million, may include PC version) (January 2009)

Top 10 selling games on a single platform of 7th gen and 7/10 of the best selling games were Wii games. Even if you take out Wii sports, that's pretty freaking good.

Think about what that data actually tells you in terms of multiplats selling on the Wii. Their 1st party did quite well, but a lot of that had to do with there being far less quality support on the thing. That list is also hopelessly out of date, and we know how the Wii fared in later years.
