As part of the PlayStation Mobile program, creators are able to distribute their games through the PlayStation Store. Best of all, developers that are part of the PSM Developer Program can publish their games to the PlayStation Store free of charge, and this version of PlayStation Mobile works with both the free version of Unity as well as Unity Pro. This is a great start but they really need to have a Vita compile option right in the free version of unity. This will work with the free Unity version but you will need to be a PSM developer to access it which means it's still kinda hidden and wont help mind share much if at all. At least it is something they are doing right though. Baby steps and all. |
