Well hopefully Portugal continues their poor performance. Looks like USA has a good chance of escaping the group of "death". However, I don't expect them to go too far after that. Perhaps they will prove their German coach wrong and make it farther than most expected. Main team I want to see USA play and beat would be Mexico. If we advance we would likely play Belgium or Russia in round of 16. Neither are easy, but neither are impossible to beat either. In any event all I am thinking about is Sunday. Portugal are still a very good side and we have to adjust without Altidore.
I would also love to knock Mexico out of another World Cup (like we did in 2002) as they are by far our most hated rival. I do hope as the US preforms better more Americans of Mexican heritage to support our national team and domestic league.
