The "casual" Wii owners don't need a new console. Most of them won't ever even know the Wii U exists
And Nintendo's games won't appeal to anyone outside of their current market space. It's in a similar position to that of the gamecube.
XB1 will struggle but the US will be enough to put it above the Wii U, regardless of whether it ends up being #1 or #2 in the US
