If Nintendo can do it right, it might be awesome. The question is: Can they do it right?
We have people that are out of touch with reality thinking that commercials with cool parents playing Wii U Karaoke with the kids was going to sell consoles. Keep those people faaaaar way this time. I look at Nintendo's youtube stuff and I say, "Why aren't they putting this on TV!?"
I think about when game devs say "We're going to market towards girls now." and then they introduce a Barbie dress up game, a pink console, and some birth control pills. Not only does that shit not work, if I were a girl, I'd be insulted! Market towards the younger people in an intelligent and creative way and the future will potentially be bright.
