The PS4 has been lacking in the Japanese games department while the PS3 and Vita have a bunch of them coming up this year. The PS4 isn't doing bad because people don't care for it, but it's doing poorly because it lacks games that cater to the Japanese audience. We've seen how poorly the 360 has done even when it had games that Japanese gamers like to play (e.g. Tales of Versperia, Lost Odyssey) and I expect nothing different from the X1. Possibly even worse.
