Neymar hasn't won anything with Barcelona, Alexis sucks at passing and Messi without Xavi and Iniesta is only half as good as he seems *points to Argentina*.

Spain hasn't looked as great as they did in 2008 because del Bosque insisted in duct-taping players that don't fit like Xabi Alonso (or even worse, Manchester City players like Silva), and stick with Torres. We could've played with Barcelona's starting midfielders and forwards except for Messi (Busquets-Xavi-Iniesta, Villa-Cesc-Pedro).

Indeed, I haven't watched much football in the last few years, but the people who did play for Spain didn't feel right. There wasn't much tiki-taka either, because it doesn't really work when a couple of players slack off or don't fit the style altogether.

The age of some players began to be a problem too (Xavi, Villa, Xabi Alonso), but it's not like we don't have young and talented players available to replace them, we've won the last two U-21 euro cups playing like this. Koke played in the last one, and his presence on the second half yesterday was noticeable.
