Yes, I believe in a 1 vs 1 scenario to see which is a better option in itself. That is what comparisons do, regardless of real world situations.....like certain fans using PC as a crutch.

Actually it means PS4 is inferior by itself because X1 is self sufficient.

And no, if it needs games that aren't exclusive, then it means it's not self sufficient. XB1 exclusives aren't enough, therefore it needs a crutch of games available on another platform. That's what you're really saying.

A self sufficient platform doesn't need games available on other platforms to stand on its own. 

By your logic if every single XB1 game was available on Wii U the XB1 would win against PS4 because its games aren't on PS4...? what? None of that makes any sense whatsoever.

What I am saying that if I were to just own a X1, I wouldn't need a PC as much as a PS4 owner would. That is what I mean by self sufficient.

Yes, yes it would win against PS4. Because Xbox and PS are locked rivals. Not Nintendo. Not PC. It is MS vs Sony, Xbox vs PS. Keep the discussion in the family. When you deviate from that strict criteria, you admit it can't compete by itself.
