However, third parties are also not required to support Nintendo, especially when there are other console manufacturers out there who are willing to form business partnerships. Most companies in most industries will tell you that working to create mutually lucrative alliances with other companies is a requirement. Nintendo has gotten around that because of the history of their brand, coming from a time when they could dictate terms, but things have obviously changed.
It's a simple situation. Microsoft and Sony try hard to build an environment where other publishers and developers can make a lot of money. Nintendo does not. The results speak for themselves.

Nintendo doesn't need 3rd parties, so Nintendo doesn't need to form partnerships. Nintendo sold more 1st party games on Wii than the xbox sold in total.
It's up to 3rd parties to sell their own games, not Nintendo.
I gave you all the numbers you need to know, Nintendo sell games on their own consoles. If Nintendo can do it, so can 3rd parties.
They just don't know how, bottom line. Noone to blame but themselves.

LOL you have no idea how this industry works, n64, GC, wii, and wiiu, all had bad third party support, wii was the only success, now compare that with playstation consoles which always had great support, they all sold over 80 million. Nintendo needs third party's.
