I disagree with his hyperbolic choice of words, but there certainly is a point to be made about people profiting directly from the work of others (with minimal effort) without the original creators seeing a penny.

I´d love to see an even revenue split between the publisher/developer and the Youtube-person.

Read the OP, there is something like that in play. however publishers realize that Youtube videos help promote their games more, so most dont bother doing it.

I read the OP and I know what the content ID-system is .

If your video is flagged through the ID-system, ALL the money goes to the original owner of the game/ source material (and Google ).

A fair compromise would be an even split between developer/Youtube-person/Google .

So what exactly is he complaining about? If this is the case then why doesn't he simply "claim" his money?

The fact that he has "backtracked" on what he said by removing his outburst indicates to me he has nothing to stand on and he realised that he made himself looked rather like a dick.

Nintendo struck a deal with youtube users that show their content that benefits everyone. Why couldn't this idiot? Or anyone else for that matter.
