Read the OP, there is something like that in play. however publishers realize that Youtube videos help promote their games more, so most dont bother doing it. 

I read the OP and I know what the content ID-system is .

If your video is flagged through the ID-system, ALL the money goes to the original owner of the game/ source material (and Google ).

A fair compromise would be an even split between developer/Youtube-person/Google .
