I think it's bullshit. There's nothing to learn. Make a good game and people will buy it. No one buys minecraft for the resolution.


The fps and texture resolution output are shared by the same resources.  More than likely, there will be a give and take amongst the two not counting other factors while running the game.  Some good games run at 60 fps. Some good games run at 1080p.  Some run at both.  Some don't even run at either and are still great games.  But like what the good Dr. said, it's run by money because these developers have limited time and resources (money) to get games out.  Deal with it.
