Saying it's weird for adults to play video games is like saying it's weird for adults to play card games or read books that are anything but non-fiction. That said, there are benefits and drawbacks to everything including games. That is to say, while there are benefits to playing games, there are possible negative effects as well depending on the individual. To deny this is to downright lie.
