  • 47% of all tweets sent out during last week's E3 expo mentioned Nintendo

In comparison, PlayStation claimed 28 percent of the Twitter conversation, while Xbox claimed 25 percent. So in that regard, it's perfectly plausible to say that Nintendo "won" this year's E3.

This doesn't take into account the semantics of the tweets. For all we know, 80% of the tweets that mention Nintendo could negative towards Nintendo.

Does that aply to Sony and microsoft?  Nintendo did a good job, maybe that is the reason.  Their show was differant and it caused more buzz than the same old presentations.  It appears Sony and Microsoft are caught in the past.

Of course it applies to Sony and Microsoft. My point is that we don't know what the sentiment of those tweets were. What percentage was positive, percentage was negative, what percentage was ambivalent, etc.

A lot of people were tweeting about Microsoft after the Xbox One reveal, but I'm sure a significant portion of those tweets were negative towards some of the policies (always online, for example)
