No, it's to do with audience and what was shown I agree, but Nintendo didn't show anything that would appeal to casual audiences (this sales won't reflect their E3 hype). They appealed to the Nintendo core thus all the twitter and forum noise. PS4 and XB1 showed a lot of stuff similar of course, but a lot of their games, Call of Duty ect appeals to an audience that isn't likely to "spread the word" on twitter or forums.
Not to mention, how many multiplat PS4/XB1 games were talked about on twitter? Those are people talking about XB1 or PS4 (or PC) but not WiiU. Factor that in and it would be largely in PS4 and XB1 favour.
