African teams are such a disgrace. Asian teams aren't any better either. In the mean time there some awesome teams from Europe, which would actually be the favourites to advance out of some of the groups, are sitting at home. It's common knowledge that it's more difficult to win Euro than World Cup and that the level there is higher, but WC is really going the wrong way. Now when Euro has expanded to 24 European teams, all that is left is to start inviting 6 teams from America and maybe 2 from Asia and Africa to participate in it and the tournament would demolish World Cup in every aspect. Level of teams, referees, everything.
