I've not argued against anything - I simply identified that there are users who would not be confident performing tasks more complex than simple installations. Are you seriously arguing against that? Lacking confidence and being able to do it are two different things. I think what I was asserting was that with good documentation, which generally Microsoft provides, users would be able to work around it.
