You're doing a wonderful job of doing away with my suspicions of your intellect. It doesn't matter because it doesn't change the explanation or the events that happened. You can try and add stipulations, not unlike a child playing heroes on the playground and developing new powers on the fly, but it doesn't change the fact you already did all the work the guy with the gun made you do.
