The 95% increase refers to revenue to make the numbers look better. Of course hardware revenue can be expected to be up sharply year over year when there are two new consoles that cost about twice as much as their predecessors did last year.

We could assume that PS4 2014 <= 360 2013 and XOne 2014 <= PS3  2013 and then add up the rest.


Yep... try putting the tag value on the VGC numbers so far (but already correct WiiU), then compare both months and see how different they are... probably since PS4 is 100,00 more than PS3 and X1 is 300,00 more than X360 I'm quite certain that the numbers aren't much better (the sum) than last month so we don't need monster sales from PS4 for that.
