The 95% increase refers to revenue to make the numbers look better. Of course hardware revenue can be expected to be up sharply year over year when there are two new consoles that cost about twice as much as their predecessors did last year.

Why not compare gen over gen when the console price were comprarable (not really with the PS3 and its 600 dollar price tag)?  That kinda makes more sense, to me at least.

Cause that doesn't work as well for the dooms sayers.. lol
