hmm, I've usually owned Nintendo and Playstation, I still have yet to upgrade to a PS4 though I have upgraded to a Wii U. Personally, my answer will have to go with Nintendo though. Playstation I really only buy for the RPGs.
1. Why are they your favorite?
They provide a vast gaming experience and a vast selection of genres where as Sony and MS seem to be mostly shooters, shooter/adventures, Racing, and sports. (plus most of it is just gory games where Nintendo provides both.)
2. What is your favorite first party franchise from them?
My favourite game of all time is Zelda 3 (Zelda:Link to the Past) for SNES so I'll have to go with Zelda :D
