If he violated a contract and the terms of the contract allow Microsoft to remove him from the program then it's fair.

To resolve the problem he's referring to, isn't complicated.

You go into the Disk Management, delete the partition, create a new one, then format the disk.

WOW!!! That was difficult. How can people manage that much effort? It's WAY too complicated.

My guess is Microsoft deliberated what they could or should do, and they decided they had the right option.
