I have only missed one match (Mex v Cam) this Cup. I saw most of or the extended highlights the other matches on Thursday and Friday. I saw all the matches yesterday. So far the matches I have seen have been anything but boring. I am sure a boring match is due soon, though.
This is my seventh World Cup (granted I was very young in 1990 but can vaguely remember some of it) and I cannot recall a better start.
Usually the group stages are boring affairs with teams trying not to get beat rather than trying to win.
This year has been great so far with Cameroon probably the most negative team.
Don't be surprise if Switzerland and Ecuador throw up another good match.
