Just for people like you, who rent the game and inevitably play it on the easiest setting, Kojima gives the opportunity to experience the entire game in a couple of days.
But that's not how it was meant to be played or experienced.
Indeed, judging from your statement, " like the last game", you clearly are no Metal Gear fan.
The fans weren't disappointed - go look at the reviews.
