ok but 3ds is not DS, it aint doing anywhere nearly as well, More on the lines of GBA so 75-80M.

Weve already had 2 successors the XL and now the 2DS, there wont be any more. 

xenostar 2ds and 3dsxl are redisigns not successors as dsi xl was for dsi;) successor is a handheld which is being released after 2-3 of predecessor not after one year, such as  ds-dslite-dsi 2004-06 06-09 09-11

I know they are your the one that brought them up, i said 3ds will be replaced in the next 2 years.
