ive heard gt5p has very smooth driving.

i had forza since it came bundled with my 360, and i didnt really like it. too hard to turn.

Forza 2 is NOT hard to turn.  In fact, it represents understeer and oversteer quite well.  When you roll into a turn at a rate of speed that generates G forces 50% higher than your car and tire combination can handle, you will go right off the track and feel as if the car can't turn.  The fact is that if you went into a hairpin turn in real life going 100MPH, your car will continue plowing ahead when you turn the wheel.  Maybe PGR or Burnout is your style.

Turn on the driving aids and use the colored speed indicators and you will find the cars handle exceptionally well when you are actually driving within their real-life physical limitations.  For a true beginner, the AWD Subaru with driving aids on is a great way to learn what you are supposed to be doing and how fast you can go.  The higher-end cars have brutal acceleration and top speed and it is VERY hard to get them under control...
