Considering tons of people read the words of multiple interviews where he said exactly that. I won't be. You however only read one interview and ignored all the others and focused on one word. Meanwhile the context of what he was actually saying contradicts that belief. Again read this http://www.gamespot.com/articles/e3-2014-the-legend-of-zelda-producer-confirms-the-hero-is-link-is-male/1100-6420451/ Pretending he didn't say it doesn't mean he didn't. He did and I've proved it time and time again. You however continue to ignore the truth and continue to flame and troll for reasons unknown when anyone with eyes can read his words in that link and know for fact that he said it was up to the player to decide.

Yeah, come back when you can quote an article who's title doesn't contradict your arguement. I'll wait forever.

Try reading the actual article. The title doesn't matter. His words matter. You say he never said it wasn't up to the player. Yet his exact words: "The reason for that is because, for me, Link is the player," said Aonuma to GameSpot. "And I don't want to look too closely at, or give too much information about, who the player character is, because it's supposed to represent the player--him or herself."

"The character's a hero, and represents the player in the game, so I leave that to the player to decide what the characteristics are of the player character, because it's supposed to represent him or herself. If that makes sense!"
