I feel exactly the same. Never really liked him, his looks freak me out and I felt he was insulting my intelect with all the BS he was talking before the launch of the Wii U, stuff like "we are the most powerful, blah, blah, 3rd parties will be all over this most powerful hardware on the market, blah, blah". Just insultive.

Good to see that at least some people remember that the Wii U was targeted at the hardcore gamer.

The Wii U never was. Only the bullshit PR was. This huge discrepancy caused the overall message not to appeal to anyone. Not a single hardcore gamer believed a single word he heard, cause he saw that this console is not targeted at him, no matter what crap Reggie told us.
