| colafitte said: Hahahaha!, most people saying Spain will lose against Netherlands...... People never learn, i suppose....It's like when people say every year Nadal won't win this time Roland Garros because people is tired to see him win again. |
Spain has no striker and that's a massive hole in your lineup (unless Diego Costa is healthy obviously, but if he is to play 10 minutes again...). On top of that Iniesta and Xavi no longer can be treated as regular startes as they are in FCB. They should already be considered veterans coming off the bench like Giggs was. Father Time has no mercy.
Mexico 2:0 Cameroon
Mexico was average, and I don't know a thing about African teams, but I think they are still in a state of crisis. The tournament is in South America and this gives an edge to their teams, they always play well there
Spain 2:2 Netherlands
Dutch lost 4 games in a row in tournaments, I think they are fed up with this and will go out with a furious charge. Spain has a track record of starting weak. This can be a great game and after thinking about it - I go for a draw. Brasil showed that when you attack and put a lot of pressure on Spain, you can beat them - I expect them to do nothing else. A draw but not a 0:0.
Chile 3:0 Australia
The play in S America, Chile knows that every goal matters in this group, so they will pressure the Aussies.
