I don't see that potential for the PS-TV-box, but even 1 million per year would help the Vita hardware base. And if Sony includes it in the more expensive Bravia-models, that would be great!

which remeber has been since 2007 because that was when the Apple TV hit the market and its LTD is just now at 25 million units! 7 years going by that many on this board would be calling that not doing to well..lol but in true terms its doing quite well , many's expectations for how well a product is doing in the market is i think when it comes to being said to be a "failure" is pretty ironic from a standpoint you sell 8 + million of any product in any market is pretty d@mn good the blunt truth is you sold freaking 8 million units of a single product, yes other companies may sell more of the products they make, but that does not take away from the fact your company has sold that many units. And since its not still being pulled off the shelf it must be doing good enough to stay in the market.

thats just now seeing LTD 25 million, Sony is now releasing a Micro-Console in a Market with simple name of Playstation TV, so unlike the Apple TV box or the Amazon Fire TV box, or Roku they do not have the presence in the game section of retail stores those boxes are in the TV section, now with the playstation TV where do you think its going?

remember the PS3, not only was the ps3 in the game section but also in Home theatre sold near TV's also.

thats the thing though just by PS4+Playstation TV bundle say for $499.00, Now it can be sold for $99.00 by itself in the games section and in the same section as the apple tv, amazon fire tv, roku boxes, and google tv boxes too boot.

Playstation games from ps1,ps2,ps3 all on the package to show its a micro Game console @$99.00 to $139.00

i think the market push is going to be quite large this christmas season from Sony..when Kaz said they are going to be aggressive for the "living room" they are in my opinion with moves like this.
