@joeorc - I can see you're very passionate about PSTV. I guess we uave different perspectives. I have a PS4 and a Vita, and see absolutely no reason why anybody, especially me, would bother with that little box.
You speak of 1st party studios. You don't actually believe that they will, after mostly ignoring Vita for 2 years and mostly porting PS3 games onto it, they'll suddenly up and start developing games for a gimped version of Vita.
One of us will end up being right, at the moment I believe it's me. PSTV has no target market, because everything it does, something else does better, cheaper or fancier (or all 3).
Vita will continue to live in Japan and among western otaku, but it has failed to take off significantly in the west, and no amount of Remote play or TV boxes will change that.
