Soul Sacrifice Delta is pretty much a sequel. It boasts new game mechanics and it's own expansive story and a graphical boost. Its more sequel than MonHun iterations and no one seems to be bothered by those... Murusaki Baby being a small title is irrelevant. Still a game Oreshika is a 1st Party IP Published by Sony, but made by Alfa(this fact is also irrelavant) Borderlands 2 is a highly requested title by fanbase. It has been/will be patched for stability. Not a big deal if you are interested in this game on the go. Sony also has other games in Development still for Vita. They haven't stopped all 1st Party production like with PSP. |
1. "Pretty much a sequel" indicates that it reuses a lot of the same content. Developed by Comcept I believe?
2. Made by Alfa is very relevant as it shows that Sony is not willing to devote their developers to Vita titles. There is nothing necessarily wrong with funding third party projects, but you should also be developing games in house.
3. Was there really a clamor for Borderlands 2 two years after the original release? If so why didn't anyone buy it? Even bundled with the Vita sales are pitiful. Shows how much being a highly requested title would mean for type 0 I guess.
4. Oh do they? They could have fooled me with their E3 presentation. They haven't stopped all production, but their production is exceedingly low. Their support, if you want to call it that, is basically the bare minimum.
Honestly is Sony putting their best effort into making the Vita a success? If they're not, why should a third party invest in the console?
