I think you way over estimate the appeal of LBP-3
Only foolish people think console owners only buy exclusive games... so there actually isn't a "drought" on the PS4. In fact the Sept-October-November time-frame has waaaaaay too many games coming to PS4 / XBO / PS3 / X360
LBP-3 will be lost in all the 3rd party games. I think it will have its own market, and have longer sales legs, but don't expect people to rush out and buy it day-1 just because it is an exclusive.
