The X1 being that low is not good for MS. I think that $399 will do nothing so let's say that happens. What does MS do? Another price cut? More bundles? Give up?

Now there is the real question!  I always thought unbundling Kinect would do nothing when the PS4 is cheaper and better supported.  Honestly I see 2 options for MS if Xbox One continues to flounder:

1) Continue on their current path and be happy with 30-40m sold LTD.  Probably cancel the Xbox Division, spin it off or sell it.

2) Dig in and get aggressive.  Drop the price by $50 this holiday season and bundle Halo or Sunset.  Start buying up studios that can pump out great games and prepare for the next gen.

still wouldn't count them out. Sony makes 1 mistake, and they take advantage like they did last gen.
