Again, go read my comment. Ps4 destiny bundle isn't just a game by itself unlike the $400 xbox one. Destiny is a game that is being hyped like crazy and it is being bundled with a ps4.....xbox one console is not being bundled with anything. Now comparing a ps4 destiny bundle against an xbox one bundle with halo 5....now that would be a solid comparison. |
I dunno if you are confused or if you are just trying to confuse people. At the ned of the day, this boils own to sales
- First you say PS4 standalone has been on the market longer thats why its at number 7. So we should give XB1@$400 time to climb up the charts since it just come on the charts 2 days ago.
- Yet, you dismiss PS4 destiny bundle which is at #4 and also came on the chart same day as XB1, cause its a bundle of a hyped game.
What I am finding shocking is that you can't see how flawed ur logic is..... consider these.
- XB1@$400 just came on the charts 2 days ago just like destiny PS4 bundle. But destiny PS4 bundle is not going on sale till september. XB1 is available right now. Yet its being outsold by something that isn't going to be avilable for another 3 months.
- The PS4 destiny bundle is not a price drop, its pretty much the quivalent of buying both seperately.
- And lastly, it doesn't matter why one is selling better than the other. If this is really a sales discussion, the fact is that right now, the PS4 destiny bundle is selling (at let in pre-orders) much much higher than the XB1 standalone.
- I woul have assumed, that since the XB1 price drop was announce over 3 weeks ago, theer should be a lot of people waiting to get the standalone once it becme available. Even with a price drop, a more expensive PS4, albeit with a game shouldn't be outselling it so early after availabilty.
- biggest oversight about your theory is that though that list is updated hourly, its not a total of overall sales acroos the lifetime of a product. If it were things like call of duty ghost on the 360 should be in the top ten and not at 17. That chart measures a rate of sales based on orders in realtime. Thats why things like PSN cards and halo collection are at number 1 and 3 respectively. so what that chart is literally saying, is that the PS4 at #4 and at #7 currently has a higher sales rate than the standalone XB1. And thats not a time thing. Cause even as we speak the standalone XB1 is dropping in sales. Its a 47 now.
