When the Vita was brand new, sure. The $399 bundle is brand new as well, and it's still suffering.

Amazon, as I mentioned, isn't a great indicator of overall sales. But it certainly shows sales trends, and is the best real-time indicator for that, since you can see how things are doing hourly through one of the biggest retailers.

This is the second Amazon thread, from what I can tell. The first was just about how the Xbox One was just doing poorly in general. This is a lot about how the Vita TV is actually taking off.

Weekly sales will be a much better indication of "suffering".

Furthermore, the Vita TV was just announced. How was the $399 X1 trending when it was announced?

Vita TV was actually "announced" months ago, we just didn't know if it would come to the U.S. The $399 One was announced months ago as well, and it's just become available. The $399.99 Xbox One preorders still couldn't beat the PS4, from what I remember.

But you are right, we will see better from weekly sales. When a console is #50 even after a price cut, that's never good.
