If something could work soo well in a simulated environment via simple change, what makes it impossible that the same couldn't happen in the real world over millions of years? |
Learning and adapting computers are actually nothing new. We used to make mechanical mice that can learn their environment on their own and adapt their behaviors once they had all the information. They actually learned this behavior, all we programmed them with was how to interpret sensors and that falling off the ledge was bad... not much different than our programming actually ;-p We are programmed to read our sensors and stay away from danger.
