From a sales standpoint I don't even think it is a question, and the reason why is right in front of everyone's noses but is being ignored.

Yes from a hardcore gamers perspective it's not exactly earth-shattering but from a sales perspective this may be the biggest announcement of E3. If Activision can sell millions of figures of random monsters they design, then the sales potential of Nintendo releasing ALL of their own franchises as figures is nearly unlimited. Stack that with the fact that unlike Skylanders there will be a ton of older gamers willing to buy some of the figures for whatever reason (collectability of Zelda and Metroid stuff / Hardcore Smash Players / ETC.). Another key point is that this is something that the brick and mortar stores desperately WANT right now, Do you see how much space stores like Target dedicate to Skylanders? It's nearly an entire aisle. This is stuff that sells and gets people to keep coming back over and over and buying more. Right now from a sales standpoint I don't think Nintendo just won this E3, I think they may have smashed it out of the park.
